This vintage Birkin is in Rouge Vif buffalo leather and Crinoline canvas with gold hardware, tonal stitching, front flap with two straps, front toggle closure, clochette with lock and two keys, double rolled handles. The interior is lined with Rouge Vif buffalo leather and toile canvas and has two interior floating pockets. Crinoline is a unique fabric made of woven horse hair and hemp, creating a striated design. Collection: H Square (2004) Origin: France Condition: Vintage; Excellent - This bag is relaxed in shape. There's no plastic on hardware. Moderate scratches to the hardware with some tarnishing present and minor plating loss to the feet. The pull straps are a little stretched out. The exterior leather has wear around the corners, some darkening to handles and clochette and some discoloration to the crinoline fabric on the bottom and back of the bag. There are some loose fibers to the crinoline fabric around the side edges. The top handle edges show some minor splitting. Interior leather shows signs of wear and minor discoloration.
