IWC SCHAFFHAUSEN's'Spitfire'watch is a nod to the original models worn by pilots and navigators in the Royal Air Force in the'40s; and abides by the same agile engineering as the iconic plane it's named for. This model is fitted with a precise 69380-calibre automatic movement, which the brand makes in-house to the same geometry as Valjoux’s legendary 7750 cam-operated chronograph, upgraded with efficient bidirectional winding and a column-wheel-mediated stopwatch mechanism. The black dial and deep brown leather strap reflect the interior of the Spitfire's cockpit, while the luminescent numbers and indices ensure it's easy to read in low light. Look closely and you'll observe the three subdials are engraved with an intricate Côtes de Genève pattern.
