This timepiece is named after Mr Alberto Santos Dumont, the Brazilian pilot who asked his friend Monsieur Louis Cartier to design him a personalised watch that would allow him to easily check the time while flying. Engineered in 1904, the Swiss-made'Santos'has become one of the brand's most iconic designs. This iteration is housed in sleek 18-karat gold, and has a seven-sided crown set with a faceted synthetic spinel, silvered opaline dial and blue sword-shaped hands.
