In 1956, Panerai filed the patent for its crown protection bridge, which went on to become the distinctive feature of its'Luminor'model. Detailed with the innovative latch, this 44mm'1950'version has a high-tech ceramic case created using a complex series of techniques, which make it five times harder than stainless steel. It's powered by the P.9010 calibre movement and has a date function, second sub-dial and three-day power reserve achieved by two barrels and an oscillating rotor that winds the springs in both directions.
