The'Alpine Eagle'timepiece is modelled after Chopard's first sports watch, the'St. Moritz', which was commissioned in the'80s by founder Karl-Friederich Scheufele. This 36mm model is built from brushed 18-karat rose gold and powered by the maison's 09.01-C automatic movement with a 42-hour power reserve. The sunburst dial, meant to evoke the image of the bird's iris, features Super-LumiNova® Roman numerals and hands that are reminiscent of feathers.
