Iris Pod Sculpture

The Iris Pod sculpture by Michael Aram is part of a limited edition series of what he calls his "nature studies". Aram calls them his "sketches in metal", as he says they are spontaneous forged representations of nature brought to life in his sculpting studio. They are each inspired by quick nature study drawings from his sketchbook, and Aram hopes that the pieces carry the freshness and gestural quality of the drawings.
