Antique French Conscience Yellow Glazed Pottery Vessel; Circa Mid 19th Century. Bulbous bottle form with a central spout at the top. This pottery jug is glazed ochre with varying tones achieved through time and use. The four handles along the sides add a graphic element to the vessel; though originally intended for threading rope to transport water or oil. Likely from Provence/south of France.
