Sprinters Nylon Sneakers

Radical conceptual designer Martin Margiela founded his eponymous couture house in 1988 and quickly established himself at the forefront of the Belgian fashion avant-garde. Today the label is run by Glenn Martens; who has maintained the brand’s intellectual blend of conceptualism and luxury. Crafted from nylon; suede and calfskin – with a vintage treatment – the Sprinters silhouette is inspired by retro running shoes. Block color contrast is met with the classic tongue displaying the numeric logo. The cleated sole also features number detailing with the 22 encircled indicating the Maison's footwear collection. Maison Margiela's signature stitch appears at the back.
