Initially launched in 1978 to attract the sporty clientele of the French Riviera, Baume & Mercier's'Riviera'automatic is both robustly built and indisputably refined. Made entirely from stainless steel, this 42mm version maintains the dodecagonal case of the original, which corresponds with each marker displayed on the sun satin-finished silver dial. The workhorse Sellita SW200 calibre powers the rhodium-plated hands and date window, and provides reserve of up to 38 hours.
