First selected by curator Stephanie Windsor, this necklace captures the romance of antique jewelry through its rich materials and storied design. The pendant features a 17th-century George III 23-karat gold Guinea spade coin, later transformed into a 19th-century locket with an agate back, dating to circa 1850. Suspended from a 24-inch 14-karat gold oval-link chain, it reflects the layered history and craftsmanship of its era.
