Ceramic Lemon Extra Virgin Olive Oil is made with 99% extra virgin olive oil and 1% lemon. Galantino revived an ancient technique in the 1990s, crushing olives and fresh lemons together without added essences for an intense, bright, citrusy flavor. The oil comes in a ceramic jug hand-painted by artisans in Puglia; it holds 250 mL (8.5 oz) and measures approximately 3 inches in diameter by 6 inches tall. Made in Italy, it is recommended for fish, seafood, soups, salads, vegetables, white meat and fine sauces; it contains no declared allergens and has a refrigerated shelf life of 16 months.
