La DoubleJ’s limited-edition La Scala Shirt is crafted from 100% precious Italian silk shantung, a wild tussah silk with a raw, irregular, slightly coarse texture. Cut in an oversized silhouette, this unlined gold blouse has concealed buttons down the front and a high-low hem that is shorter at the back and longer at the front for an easy drape. Removable feathers and handmade tassel embroidery created with Aari and Zardozi techniques add texture; the embroidery took 175 hours and 18 artisans to complete. Made in Italy.
