Virgil Abloh. Nike. Icons. brings together Nike and Virgil Abloh’s collaborative project The Ten, reimagining 10 sneaker icons from the Air Jordan 1 to the Air Presto. This hardcover book with Swiss binding explores Abloh’s investigative design process, presenting sneakers as industrial design, readymade sculpture and wearable design. Conceived with London-based design studio Zak Group, the two-part compendium pairs a visual culture of sneakers with a lexicon of the people, places, objects, ideas, materials and scenes behind the project. It measures approximately 10 x 11.7 inches, contains 352 pages, weighs 5.12 pounds and is made in Italy.
