Handcrafted of bamboo silk, it has no backing and weighs 64 lbs.; size is approximate, and the rug is imported. Vacuum regularly and have it professionally cleaned only; as with rugs generally, shedding may occur, though hand-knotted rugs tend to shed less than hand-tufted rugs, and shedding can be greater in high-traffic areas. A rug pad, not included, is recommended to help stabilize the rug and minimize wear and fiber damage; swatches are not currently available.
