Panerai's 'Submersible' collection builds on the iconic heritage of the diving watches initially developed by the Florentine instrument maker for the Italian Navy in the 1940s. Encased in stainless steel and set on a tough rubber strap, it's built with the line's cushion-curved case and anti-clockwise rotating bezel topped by scratchproof ceramic, which allows for accurate immersion calculations. The in-house-made movement offers an impressive three-day power reserve, so it'll still be ticking come Monday if you've been wearing something more formal all weekend.
