About the designer: Since founding his namesake line in 1986, New York-based designer Marc Jacobs has become a celebrity and icon of cool. He designed grunge-inspired collections, created a mass quirk appeal, and even made un-sexy ultra seductive. In addition to designing his own women's collection, menswear line, and their diffusion lines, Jacobs also acts as Creative Director for Louis Vuitton.
