The label was founded in 2017 by Josh Goot and Christine Centenera, who wanted to create a better alternative to the current fashion system. Instead of the relentless production-consumption cycle, WARDROBE. NYC dreamed up an improved business model that is more egalitarian and efficient while being less wasteful. The result?
