Marla Aaron's necklace is a perfect example of why the designer calls her pieces' "jewel tools" - it's fitted with a variety of industrial-inspired locks, including the 'Heart' and 'Baby Drop' ones, that can be detached or added onto for a customized look. It's handmade from sterling silver, 14-karat rose and yellow gold and has a star-shaped pendant inlaid with glossy turquoise enamel. At its longest, the chain measures 24 inches but the shorter 'loop' can be removed, scaling it back to 16 inches.
