Back in 1946, New England natives Daniel J. Wellehan Sr., William Beaudoin and Joseph Cordeau set out to make the shoes of the seaside – along came the'Portland', and the rest, as they say, is history. Inspired by the city in Maine, these boat shoes are made from leather that's polished, oiled and waxed and set on anti-slip soles for enhanced traction.
