Its tartan-style plaid tweed is made from Irish wool yarn spun, dyed, and custom-woven by Ireland's Magee 1866 mill, a Ralph Lauren partner for more than 50 years; the jacket is 100% wool with a 100% lamb leather undercollar and a body lining of 55% polyester and 45% viscose. Details include 4-inch notch lapels, a buttoned throat latch, a lapel buttonhole, a two-button silhouette with genuine horn buttons, four-button cuffs ready for custom-tailored buttonholes, welt and flap pockets, interior pockets, double vents, and full lining. Imported and dry clean only by a leather specialist, it has a trim fit through the chest and waist, a shorter length, soft shoulders, and high armholes; size 40R measures 30.75 inches at the front body, 30 inches at the back body, and 19 inches across the shoulder.
