Junya Watanabe Denim jeans are made with rigid denim, featuring a 100% cotton self and a second self composed of 30% cotton, 25% wool, 25% polyester and 20% nylon. Patchwork panels with sequins and destroyed details give the five-pocket design an avant-garde finish, while a cowhide pocket, zip fly and button closure complete the construction. The designer, a protégé of Comme des Garçons’ Rei Kawakubo, has designed his own line since 2001, reworking classic silhouettes with techno influences.
