Cartier's timepiece was originally created for Brazilian aviator Alberto Santos-Dumont at the turn of the 20th century, the explorer was in need of something to prevent looking down at his pocket watch during flights. This iteration has a pearlescent grey dial and a layered 18-karat gold and stainless steel case that highlights the recognisable square shape and screw details.
